By Air

There are many airlines now offering regular scheduled flights from various European cities into Malaga, Bitish Airways, Monarch and Easyjet fly into Gibraltar, there is also the option of flying with Ryanair into Jerez de la Frontera.

By Bus

Bus travel is a popular and cheap way to get around Spain. Most buses are run by private operators and are comfortable and air-conditioned. If you are flying into Malaga there is a direct coach which picks up outside arrivals and runs non-stop, direct to Marbella from where you can pick up a bus to Estepona and beyond.

For those of you who have a problem with flying, or who like to see a bit of the country on the way, you can even travel here from the UK by coach.

By Rail

The nearest mainline rail stations are in Malaga and Algeciras, although there are plans to extend the Malaga-Fuengirola branchline to Estepona and ultimately to Manilva by the beginning of the next decade. Car Rentals

The South of Spain is well catered for by car rental companies and the competition helps to keep prices down.

For the cheapest prices you are best off booking through one of the many online rental agencies such as carjet.

Spain's modern system of national highways and Autopistas (motorways) make it easily accessible to the rest of Europe and car rentals are very competitive, especially out of season. From the UK and Ireland it is easy to take a ferry or the Eurotunnel to France and then drive down, or take a ferry from the UK to the north of Spain and then drive down.
